DAY TRIP: Foothills Hospital

Accidentally snack on a urinal cake while completely hammered on Tibetan mushrooms and vodka? Has a hamster burrowed up your rectum during a frosh week stunt? Sounds like you could use a visit to the Foothills Hospital. Just walk in and announce you’re a University of Calgary student, because the U of C and the Foothills Hospital have a unique partnership. It won’t necessarily get you admitted faster, but it’s worth a shot. You don’t have to be an accident-prone dumbass to visit the hospital, though, as students in the faculty of nursing and medicine take trips down for research and educational purposes. Stop by for that oh-so-delicious hospital food they feed to patients without taste buds or stop by and volunteer at their fabulous gift shop.
