The Ming

By André Rodrigues

What do Ghandi, Napoleon, Jacques Cousteau and Karl Marx all have in common? They’re all martinis at the Ming. You can even try a Mother Teresa–Tequila, Bombay, Grand Marnier and lime juice. On top of the delectable martinis is a comfortable atmosphere with leatherette cushioning, a fireplace and the “red light” district. It’s an excellent place for intimacy or catching up with old friends. Fast, friendly service and reasonably priced ($6-7, always 2 ounces).
