Kenny Lattimore is definitely no stranger to the music industry. With the release of his third solo album, Lattimore lends his seasoned voice to his latest project, Weekend. This 11-track album displays the soloist’s powerful ability, allowing listeners to become enticed by his sultry vocals. Unfortunately, the majority of this compilation borrows from overly saturated and redundant
R and B themes, with Lattimore failing to contribute a personal sense of depth or perception. Although frustratingly weak lyrics undermine Lattimore’s vocal capabilities, the catchy beats and rhythmic melodies are bound to help you unwind, even if it is simply for a weekend.
