Even if this release had been their third or fourth, Headstrong’s self-titled debut would still manage to impress. With a heavy rock sound reminiscent of Rage Against The Machine, minus the activist undertones, Headstrong manages to combine two worlds otherwise alien to each other: metal and intelligence. Combining the fresh feel of a debut album with an extremely well produced sound, Headstrong promises to go places, both now and in the future.
