The Dinos Football Team is set to kick off the 2003/04 season at 7:00 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 29 against the University of Alberta Golden Bears. The Dinos hope to improve on last season’s 5-3-0-1 record and opening round playoff defeat to the University of Regina Rams.
With 100 per cent of the game’s proceeds going toward Street Esteem, why not shell out the five dollar admission charge and help support Calgary’s homeless as well as our gridiron warriors.
Street Esteem is a not-for-profit organization geared towards improving the standard of living of homeless and near homeless people in Calgary.
Training camp begins Aug. 15 and runs through Aug. 23, concluding with the annual Alumni game at McMahon Stadium.
