Yet another beer company is giving money to students. Big Rock Brewery’s Moolah for Schoolah contest for students struggling with tuition costs. Prizes of $1,000, totaling $10,000, being given away in a draw. Contest runs from Sept. to Oct. .

"Because of raising tuition costs that statistics have recently shown we wanted to help students," said Big Rock Brewery Communication & Corporate Relations Manager Teresa Klein.

For students already starting to feel the financial crunch entry into Moolah for Schoolah requires no purchase. Entries are available at participating Alberta liquor stores and licensed establishments, including the Den.

"It’s great that even private companies are recognizing the large expense of post-secondary school," said Students’ Union President Jayna Gilchrist.

To be eligible you must be a registered student in any post-secondary institute and of legal drinking age.
