Pissing Razors

By Sarah Radomsky

If this album is going to be on your CD rack in the next two weeks, it’s probably best you and I never meet. Since last year’s disappointing, lifeless live album Live In The Devils Triangle, I had hoped that the Texas-based, four-piece Pissing Razors would be able to pick up the pieces and deliver something more substantial.

There I was, five minutes and 34 seconds into Evolution and things were already going downhill. The song "Perseverance" is one of a band without direction, while "The Threshold" and "Two Faced Devil" have been done time and time again, only better.

Perhaps their next album will be cleaner, well-organized and original, or perhaps they could spare us all, and never record anything ever again.
