Marginalized caught in a cycle

By Amy Badry

Provincial governments are looking at ways to increase enrollment for people in society’s margins.

Rural, aboriginal and disabled students have a significantly lower percentage of high-school graduates attending post-secondary schools, according to Ontario’s Knowledge Economy Report.

The report acknowledges the economic impact of post-secondary education and urges the Ontario government to consider increasing funding for low-income students.
