Editor, the Gauntlet,
About three weeks ago, I walked into the NUTV office, curious to find out more about the organization. Within 20 minutes, I had already become a member and was sitting in on my first production meeting. By the next week, I was scheduled to volunteer on two different shoots. Just last week I was trained on the equipment, and in the next few weeks, I expect to be doing my own stories. So imagine my surprise when I read the Gauntlet and found [SU Vice-President Operations and Finance] Greg Clayton accusing NUTV of not responding to the demands of students. My experience at NUTV in the last few weeks is living proof of quite the opposite situation: NUTV is accessible and available to all of the students on campus, and anyone who takes an interest can be a part of it, without having to jump through any hoops. It seems that either Clayton has a personal grudge, or is completely ignorant to the reality of the situation.
