Exhaust, Enregistreur

By Myke Atkinson

If there was ever a soundtrack for a movie in which the world became a dark, barren, deserted shithole, this is it.

Imagine a scene in which a camera falls from a fading Earth until the world was just a useless pixel on your television screen. You are left with nothing but a world of spacious noise, and black, unfilled gaps between the stars. The haunting moans and minimalist bleeps would accompany you as you continually fall back into a void of absolute nothingness. A pure calm would overtake your senses, as they are suddenly greeted with a consistent beat. As you overlook from the edge of our galaxy falling far, far away, the mood falls back to nothing. Humming and buzzing, it’s like experiencing the apocalypse–but not just any apocalypse: the best apocalypse you’ve ever seen.
