I first write to congratulate Mr. Rothbauer and the Gauntlet for possessing sufficient editorial fortitude to publish this article, and secondly to thank the organizers of the event.

While I do not agree with Weiss’ anti-Zionist views, I agree with seeing them in print, despite the wishes of many fellow Zionists, because airing both sides of the issue lends credibility to the discussion. In addition, listening to Weiss forced me to re-examine some of my opinions and support of Zionism.
