Red Cross tsunami party

In what can only be described as a cross-cultural celebration, the Campus Red Cross Club in conjunction with the Students’ Union, will hold an event at the MacEwan Student Centre Ballroom on Feb. 2.


Various groups and ethnic communities from across campus and around Calgary have signed on to provide the entertainment at this event, groups from countries that may or may not have been affected by this disaster.


Recently-returned Red Cross aid worker, Jean-Pierre Taschereau, will be present at this event to make the keynote speech. Also, a silent auction will also take place at this event, with all proceeds going to aid relief efforts in the disaster areas.


A suggested $5 donation admission will allow you to see this cross-cultural event and help an excellent cause.
