The University of Calgary School of Public Policy received a donation of $1 million from pipeline and energy business TransCanada on Feb. 25. The money will be directed to the creation of a five-year program to study the impact of business regulations in the industry.
The U of C’s School of Public Policy website lists their goal to raise $109 million in the areas of energy and environmental, international, economic and social policies.
