The fact that he plays for a Canadian university didn’t stop Dinos quarterback Lincoln Blumell from becoming an All-American.
Blumell was named to the Verizon District VII Academic All-American squad as the first team quarterback. The Calgary pivot has a 4.00 GPA in his master’s program in Religious Studies and led the Dinos to a 5-3 record in conference play.
The 26-year-old Blumell has been the Dinos starting quarterback for three of the last four seasons, and passed for 2033 yards and 12 touchdowns this year.
